Amazon Canada Opens New Fulfillment Center in Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec (Greater Montreal Area)

Amazon Canada has opened its most advanced fulfillment center in Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec just in time to handle the big holiday season rush.

The 720,000 sq ft center will be the first warehouse operation in Canada to integrate Amazon Robotics’ leading-edge mobile fulfillment systems in 2022.

With this advanced technology, Amazon is able to improve the speed and efficiency of its services for the company’s customers in Eastern Canada, while making the workplace safer.

New Strategic Location for Amazon Canada

From its strategic location in the heart of the ALTA industrial park, just southwest of Montreal, the Coteau-du-Lac fulfillment center strengthens Vaudreuil-Soulanges’ position as a critical transportation and logistics hub.

Andrée Brosseau, Mayor of Coteau-du-Lac, Patrick Bousez, Prefect of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges RCM, Joanne Brunet, General Manager of DEV Vaudreuil-Soulanges and Francine St-Denis, General Manager of the employment organization Réseaux, joined the opening of the new Amazon facility with members from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges regional county municipality.

This Coteau-du-Lac brings 500 full-time jobs with comprehensive benefits starting on day one. It is part of Amazon Canada’s commitment to generate 15,000 new positions across the country this fall.
