Over the years Amazon offered thousands of digital subscriptions on Subscribe with Amazon. But to date, the site only sold well-known brand subscriptions by magazines, newspapers, software, and more.
So, the power of Amazon’s successful subscription eco-system is now available to all entrepreneurs creating digital subscription content. While restrictions apply for video and music content, all other types of digital content are easy to add and setup.

AMAZON’S SUBSCRIPTION PLATFORM IS EASY TO USE
With Amazon’s self-service tool for subscriptions, you can create a subscription detail page.
The system also allows you to manage pricing and promotions of your digital content. Another benefit are the easy-to-use APIs to receive orders and updates from Amazon.
The pricing options are flexible and include common marketing strategies. You can select from introductory pricing and monthly or yearly subscription offers.
Of course, Amazon would like you to support Prime members with special offers. For that reason, Amazon includes pricing options that are exclusive to Prime Members.
With Subscriptions with Amazon, you are able to target select customers. The system offers you several promotional advertising and search and discovery tools.
Amazon will have a dashboard with all the information about your subscriptions. And they offer easy to understand step by step guides to help you maximize your content.
Let’s also look at the payout schedule:
- First year subscribers will earn you 70% of the subscription price.
- After the first year, you will earn 85% of the subscription price.
