Canada Post Deadlines To Ship to United States
One of the most popular international shipping destinations for Canadians is the United States. Canada Post issued the following recommended shipping deadlines for shipments to the US:
- Tracked Packet/Small Packet: December 12
- Expedited Parcel USA: December 13
- Xpresspost USA: December 15
- Priority Worldwide: December 21
Again, winter storms could delay shipments, so it’s advisable to send packages as early as possible.
For all other countries, please see the latest holiday season deadline information on Canada Post’s website.
Special Note About UK: Deliveries to the UK are likely to be delayed due to the bitter and ongoing strike actions by Royal Mail postal workers.
Therefore, the recommended holiday season deadlines on Canada Post’s website for parcel shipments to the UK are overly optimistic.
We highly recommend shippers send parcels as soon as possible and select one of the express services now. Learn more about how the UK postal worker strike affects international shippers here.
