In a surprise announcement, eBay said that it was able to help sellers deal with rising shipping costs by making “Home Delivery one of the most cost competitive services in the space.”
For sellers to take advantage of these deeper FedEx discounts, they must be using eBay Labels, the company’s integrated shipping platform enabling sellers to purchase, edit and print shipping labels, either individually or in bulk.
eBay Labels also allows sellers to compare different shipping carriers available through the platform.
In addition, the integrated shipping platform automatically uploads tracking information to the marketplace so that buyers are immediately informed when an order ships.
Unfortunately, FedEx surcharges for the 2022 holiday season will continue to apply. But this also affects shipments on USPS and UPS, the other domestic carrier services eBay sellers can use to ship from the eBay Labels platform.
