FedEx Express has announced its transition to a direct-serve presence in Jordan, to support the country’s growing export and import demands and post COVID-19 economic recovery.

Since 1994, FedEx Express has facilitated trade in Jordan by providing international logistics solutions and connectivity through local service providers. This expansion will offer customers and businesses in Jordan access to a broader portfolio of shipping solutions.

This transition to direct-serve presence by FedEx Express supports Jordan’s efforts under Vision 2025 to strengthen the country’s economic position and improve its transport and logistics infrastructure.

Under Jordan’s Vision 2025, the transport and logistics sector plays a critical role in supporting trade connectivity on a local, regional, and international scale, along with creating jobs.

The transport and logistics sector contributes more than 8% to Jordan’s GDP annually.
