Facebook Launches Instagram Placement for Click to Messenger Ads
Today, Instagram, a Facebook company, is launching Click to Messenger ads. Nearly 20 million Facebook pages already use this technology, so the expansion to Instagram is a natural progression.

At Facebook F8, the company stated it was working on making Messenger an integral part of business communications. It said it wanted to make Messenger the new Yellow Pages of the Internet.
When an Instagram user sees engages with a Click to Messenger ad, it will allow that user to start an immediate conversation with the business on Messenger.
Advertisers can highly target audiences and provide rich image and video content that feels at home on the Instagram platform.
