Kamal Patel has a strong technical background, having worked for the likes of Nortel Network, Reuters, and Goldman Sachs, as well as holding a key position as Head of IT at Hamilton Capital before starting his own software consulting business.
“My love for software started at a young age, programming games on the Amstrad CPC-464 in the late ’80s,” said Patel.
“I’ve spent 25+ years delivering software solutions and collaborated with some amazing people along the way. Optiseller’s commitment to quality data is part of what attracted me to the company, and I am delighted to now be part of a team dedicated to making store optimization accessible to sellers of all sizes,” he added.
Optiseller’s new Marketing Manager, Tricia Wilson is an SEO, marketing and data specialist, who has previously worked with Yard, Tangible and Bigmouthmedia (Digitas).
“I started my career working as an SEO account manager within Bigmouthmedia where I discovered my love for digital marketing before moving on to end-to-end digital campaigns and web builds at Tangible. There, I grew my knowledge around more traditional marketing models,” said Wilson.
“It’s a very exciting time for data and eCommerce and I’m delighted to be joining such an ambitious company and passionate team. I can’t wait to help support the company’s growth in the years to come,” she added.
Laura Cassidy joined the company’s growing marketing team this month. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Laura moved to Scotland almost a decade ago to complete her Master’s in International Marketing at Edinburgh Napier.
She has worked in marketing for the past 7 years, most recently as a Senior Marketing Executive at Fitwise Management. Laura is looking forward to taking on her next challenge and creating engaging and helpful content for Optiseller users.
“It’s inspiring to see how Optiseller has evolved over the past few years, and I am looking forward to being a part of a team of individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact within the world of eCommerce,” Cassidy said.
“Content and design are my passion and I am excited to put these skills to action with a company with such positive ethos,” she added.
Optiseller Helps eBay Sellers Succeed
Optiseller will continue to expand over the coming year and beyond in order to fulfill its plan to become one of the world’s leading eCommerce and marketplace experts.
The company is best known for its eCommerce tools to help eBay sellers achieve success on the marketplace through solutions like Aspect Finder+ that enable them to optimize their listings for better visibility.
Data has always been and will increasingly become even more important for all eCommerce sales channels. In this area, eBay sellers often struggle, and this is where Opitseller can provide solutions with its eCommerce tools.
For example, eBay’s latest refocus on vehicle Parts and Accessories (P&A) means many listings need to be updated with the latest eBay mandates and also include key vehicle fitment data on listings, all of which can be done through Optiseller tools.
Because of its focus on eCommerce marketplace sellers and online merchants, Optiseller has grown to over 50,000 users in 140 countries.
To continue to fuel its global growth, the company is looking to fill a range of roles with experienced and enthusiastic team members. See their career page for more details.
