PayPal comes back to eBay
When eBay rolled out its eBay Managed Payments beta, sellers that signed up for it lost the ability to accept payments via PayPal.
eBay announced they are now rolling out PayPal to participating eBay Managed Payments sellers that opted into the program.
“We’ve also made great progress on the integration of PayPal on the managed payments platform and, starting today, we are making PayPal available in managed payments. We are starting small and, in the coming weeks, we will continue to test and scale this feature to ensure a seamless and successful seller and buyer experience.”

This appears to be slightly ahead of schedule as eBay only promised to bring back PayPal to participating eBay Managed Payments sellers sometime this summer.
While eBay has been claiming much success with eBay Managed Payments, the underlying data (from its public earnings reports) seems to show a slow adoption rate among existing sellers.

eBay in its quarterly earnings calls also admitted that acceptance from existing users to the new payments program was a bit sluggish.
Clearly, PayPal is still the main payment method that most sellers use on eBay and while eBay Managed Payments may have some benefits over PayPal, the vast majority of buyers and sellers still feel more comfortable with PayPal.
Making PayPal available again to eBay Managed Payments sellers should help convince more sellers to join the program.
